Today I'm showing a concept of the Red Wings and what their uniforms may have looked like if they had played in a Stadium Series game this year. This is not what I would have done for an outdoor game but with the restrictions of the template the NHL used, there is only so much you can do.
I have added the new Stadium Series template to the speedy updated template on my Templates page just in case anyone would want this template specifically.

We have our first concept submission to the blog today. That submission comes from a guy by the name of Jared Lammi. He has created concepts for the upcoming Winter Classic and Stadium Series games next season.
Jared, I would suggest finding a template either on my templates page or there are also a ton on hockeyjerseyconcepts.com. Having a solid template can really help nail down some of the concepts you are trying to create. If you haven't looked at the tutorial I created I would also suggest giving that a look as well, but I am liking your creativity with your concepts. Keep it up, Jared!
For this years Winter Classic between the Chicago Blackhawks and Washington Capitals, I made some alternate uniforms for the two teams. For the Blackhawks I created a set based off of their original uniforms, and for the Capitals I created a fauxback using the colors used by the Caps in the 90's and early 2000's.
I created another possible set for a hypothetical Winter Classic next year between the Winnipeg Jets and the Minnesota Wild. For the Jets, the set is a throwback to one of the jerseys used by the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA. For the Wild, I thought the colours would work well with a barberpole stripe design.
