Mile High Alternate

Today I am back with an update for the Colorado Avalanche's new third jerseys. I maintained most of the elements of their new jerseys, but switched up the striping style and decreased the size of the logo. Let me know what you think in the comments!

Red Wing Stadium Series + New Template(Update: Added the other three teams)

Today I'm showing a concept of the Red Wings and what their uniforms may have looked like if they had played in a Stadium Series game this year. This is not what I would have done for an outdoor game but with the restrictions of the template the NHL used, there is only so much you can do.

I have added the new Stadium Series template to the speedy updated template on my Templates page just in case anyone would want this template specifically.

Jared Lammi

We have our first concept submission to the blog today. That submission comes from a guy by the name of Jared Lammi. He has created concepts for the upcoming Winter Classic and Stadium Series games next season.

Jared, I would suggest finding a template either on my templates page or there are also a ton on hockeyjerseyconcepts.com. Having a solid template can really help nail down some of the concepts you are trying to create. If you haven't looked at the tutorial I created I would also suggest giving that a look as well, but I am liking your creativity with your concepts. Keep it up, Jared!

Bringing Back the Mountains

The Colorado Avalanche were one of the many teams that were struck by the dreaded Reebok redesign in 2007, but unlike most of those teams they have yet to change their jerseys. Without completely copying their pre-Edge jerseys, I decided to bring the mountains back to the Avs striping, while also removing black from the colour scheme.
