The Reign of Shultz ( February 19th Update)

As you might have guessed by the title of this post we have another guest concept from Ben Shultz. For this concept he has created a jersey for the Ontario Reign, who currently play in the ECHL but are being promoted to the LA Kings affiliate team in the AHL. The Reign recently revealed their new logos but they were a little bit of  a let down since they were just the 90's logo and the current Kings' jersey set.

Ben suggests that the team remains associated with their parent team colors but that they also give themselves jerseys that differentiate them from the Kings. Execution is great for the jersey, with the only thing possibly missing is a back view of the jersey. Other than that, great concept and I can't wait to see what you come up with next Ben!

UPDATE

After I posted Ben's concept for the Ontario Reign he made some revisions of the jersey. His new design is a lot more outside of the box than his previous jersey, with this jersey utilizing a faux gradient look. He also added a back view to the jersey, which I thank him for listening to my critique.

Philly & Phlorida

Today we have a concept from me and another new concept artist. The Philadelphia Flyers concept is by Ben Shultz. It takes some details from their previous Winter Classic jersey and creates a great black third jersey.

For my concept, I created an alternate jersey for the Florida Panthers.
