When the Hurricanes redesigned their uniforms, they removed all of their unique identity from their jerseys. With my concept I try to keep the traditional style the Canes were aiming for while also keeping intact their previous identity.

Bringing Back the Mountains
The Colorado Avalanche were one of the many teams that were struck by the dreaded Reebok redesign in 2007, but unlike most of those teams they have yet to change their jerseys. Without completely copying their pre-Edge jerseys, I decided to bring the mountains back to the Avs striping, while also removing black from the colour scheme.
